Jon Vinyl Is Ready To Leave Behind A Toxic Love With ‘No Feelings’
The revival of nostalgic sounds continues to grow as artists invoke the spirits of the classics, Jon Vinyl executes this perfectly with his newest single “No Feelings.”
Incorporating a timeless sample from Earth, Wind & Fire’s hit “September,” Vinyl sings about leaving a toxic love behind as he recognizes that she is no good for him and that she wont change her ways.
“It all makes sense to me / Why this love cuts so deep / You don't wanna talk 'bout feelings / You don't wanna talk, I said it all / You just wanna make me jealous,” he sings as he tells her that her love is nothing more than a cancer.
On this new single, he shares, “With the release of ‘No Feelings,’ the goal was to ensure a profound level of ruthless honesty was maintained while taking my listeners on a personal journey through realization and heartbreak. I truly loved putting this piece together because it feels ferocious and liberating to cut the strings loose.”
Creating a vintage visual to match the vibe, he released the video for “No Feelings,” alongside its release.
This song comes to up as a first solo single since his 2022 EP, Palisade, and will be featured on his forthcoming that is expected to be released this fall.
